About Awelle — Australian Legal AI, Lawyer-Built
Australian accountants, business owners, franchise networks, property teams and HR functions kept running into the same wall: contracts and compliance documents…
We started with a documents problem shared by every fast-moving business.
Australian accountants, business owners, franchise networks, property teams and HR functions kept running into the same wall: contracts and compliance documents that were either too generic to rely on, out of date with the Fair Work Act, the Franchising Code or state-based leasing rules, or too expensive to have drafted from scratch every time.
Awelle was founded by Lisa, Australian lawyer, to close that gap not by replacing lawyers with AI, but by putting AI to work on what it does well (structuring and assembling a document in minutes) while keeping legal judgement exactly where it belongs: with practising lawyers.
How Awelle is built
Every clause in Awelle’s library is drafted to the standard of top-tier Australian firms, not scraped from generic or crowdsourced templates. AI doesn’t write these clauses from scratch — it orchestrates, selecting and customising the right pre-vetted clauses for your specific business, then generating a document in minutes instead of days. Nothing leaves the platform unreviewed.

Who’s behind it
Awelle is shaped by a small team of practising Australian lawyers and contributors, led by founder and Legal Director Lisa. The team includes a practising barrister specialising in employment and workplace law, a senior commercial lawyer, and a product team focused on making the experience straightforward for businesses without in-house legal support.
Where Awelle fits
Whether you’re an accountant issuing documents to clients, a franchise network keeping a national network consistent, a business owner protecting yourself before you sign, or an HR team building Fair Work-compliant employment contracts — Awelle generates the document, and a qualified lawyer stands behind it.
